Where anything can happen and probably will

About

Hello. I’m Michael.

I live in the Cynon Valley in South Wales.

Following more than ten years’ experience in Public Accountancy practices, I am now what’s called a Kinship Carer.

There’s more to me than work. I have a fair amount of life experience. I call myself Grandpa because that’s what my grandchildren call me. I have spent my life observing both my own, and other people’s lives. I’ve watched as life has twisted and turned through many years and many careers. So I know a bit about what it takes to survive. I’ve worked long hours, both for myself and for other people. I’ve had good health, bad health, and restored myself to good health again. I think I can safely say that I’ve learned what really matters in life, especially after losing my wife of nearly 43 years to cancer in 2018.

This blog is about sharing my humble experience. If it works for you, great. If it doesn’t, then ignore me.

Please be aware of one thing, though: I do not endorse or recommend any specific health or fitness regimen. I report what has worked for me and for other people. My experience is based on my own research. Before you try any of the ideas on this blog, please make sure that you do your own research to satisfy yourself that the suggestions are appropriate for you. If necessary, consult your own medical, financial, and life advisors. Just because something works for me, it doesn’t mean it will work for you.

So please, enjoy my musings. If you feel like commenting, please do. But please be aware that I do not tolerate abuse. Abusive comments will be deleted and may possibly be reported.

This blog contains only ramblings and observations. It doesn’t give advice, and it doesn’t try to solve problems. It’s just observations.

If these observations make you think, that’s okay. If, as a result, you decide to change your way of thinking or living, that’s up to you.

In other words, I take no responsibility for your actions. Any decisions you make are entirely yours

The only advice I will offer is:

Always do your own research and speak with your own support team. Don’t rely on my observations.

Thank you for visiting.

Michael
